Mental health, as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO), encompasses a state of mental well-being in which individuals can effectively cope with daily life's various stressors and challenges. It encompasses emotional, psychological, and social aspects of functioning, fostering the development of positive coping strategies, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills. By promoting mental well-being, individuals can not only thrive personally but also actively participate in and enhance the social fabric of their communities, thereby contributing to collective resilience and societal cohesion.
